Route Intelligence Report
New and Proposed Routes
Riyadh Air (RX) will inaugurate daily service between Riyadh (RUH) and Manila (MNL) on Sept. 9, 2026, using Boeing 787-9 aircraft. The route marks the startup carrier’s first destination in the Philippines.
Mahan Air (W5) plans to launch service to Vietnam in late August, introducing new nonstop flights from Tehran Imam Khomeini (IKA) to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Ho Chi Minh City service begins Aug. 30 aboard Airbus A340-300 aircraft, initially operating fortnightly before increasing to weekly from Oct. 25. Hanoi flights are scheduled to launch Sept. 6, also with A340-300s, operating every two weeks through mid-October. The expansion gives the Iranian carrier its first scheduled service to Vietnam.
Dropped and Suspended Routes
Breeze Airways (MX) will not resume seasonal service between Providence (PVD) and Cancun (CUN) this winter. The carrier had planned to restart the route Dec. 19 with 2x weekly Airbus A220-300 flights during the holiday period before reducing to weekly service from Jan. 9, but the route has now been canceled from the winter schedule.

7 External Traffic Strategies. One question finally answered.
What actually moved your BSR?
Most eCommerce brands running external traffic can't answer that. Wrong channels, no real attribution, and at the end of the month, a dashboard full of activity and no proof of what drove revenue.
The brands getting it right aren't spending more. They've just stopped guessing.
They know which channels pull weight on Amazon listings, which ones look good in a report but bleed budget, and why creator and affiliate traffic consistently outperform paid social when it's set up correctly.
Levanta's free playbook breaks down all 7 strategies. Where each one works, where it falls apart, and what it takes to scale without it becoming a second job. If you're serious about moving your BSR without living inside PPC, this is worth 5 minutes.

Aviation Safety & Security
Passenger throughput at U.S. airports softened in July after several years of strong post-pandemic growth. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) screened 83.34 million passengers during the month, down 2.0 percent from 85.07 million in July 2025. Despite the monthly decline, demand remained essentially flat on a year-to-date basis, with 525.74 million passengers screened during the first seven months of 2026, a slight 0.1 percent increase over 525.29 million during the same period in 2025.
TSA screeners cleared 18,629,874 passengers for the week ending August 1. Here are the top 10 busiest airports for the week in terms of screened passengers.

Aviation Industry News
UPDATE: WestJet (WS) and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) have reached a tentative collective bargaining agreement, ending a brief but disruptive flight attendant strike that coincided with Canada’s Civic Holiday weekend. The strike, involving approximately 4,400 flight attendants, resulted in the cancellation of 922 flights, or about 39 percent of the airline’s scheduled operation, disrupting travel plans for roughly 250,000 passengers before service gradually resumed.
While financial terms have not been disclosed, the tentative agreement reportedly addresses one of the union’s primary demands by expanding compensation for work performed during duty periods on the ground, including boarding and other pre-flight responsibilities. The agreement remains subject to ratification by union members within the next 30 days, while the airline continues working to restore its full schedule following the operational disruption.
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has certified the Boeing 737-7, clearing the smallest member of the 737 MAX family for commercial service after years of delays and heightened regulatory scrutiny. The approval allows Boeing to begin customer deliveries, with Southwest Airlines (WN) expected to be the launch operator. Certification follows extensive design changes, testing and safety enhancements implemented after the 737 MAX grounding, including updates to flight control software, cockpit alerting systems and the engine anti-ice system. Boeing said the milestone reflects its continued focus on safety and quality as it prepares to deliver the aircraft and now turns its attention toward FAA certification of the larger 737-10.

Allegiant Air (G4) reported a strong second quarter, with total operating revenue increasing 17.4 percent to a record $984.1 million and net income rising 20.5 percent to $57.4 million, driven by continued strength in its leisure travel business and higher ancillary revenue. The airline transported a record number of passengers during the quarter while achieving a 13.4 percent increase in scheduled service revenue per passenger, despite higher fuel costs and operating expenses. Allegiant also highlighted continued progress on its Boeing 737 MAX fleet transition and the acquisition of Sun Country Airlines (SY), which is expected to strengthen the carrier’s position in the U.S. leisure market through complementary networks and expanded scale.

Air Cargo

A Tuesday Silk Way West Airlines (7L) flight made an emergency diversion to Dallas/Fort Worth after departing Felipe Ángeles Santa Lucia (NLU) near Mexico City for Houston Intercontinental (IAH). The crew declared a PAN-PAN for low fuel, reporting just 6,000 pounds of fuel remaining, but initially insisted they could continue to Houston. Air traffic controllers determined the Boeing 747-8/F (VQ-BVB) did not have sufficient fuel to safely reach Houston, declared an emergency on the crew’s behalf and directed the freighter to land at Dallas/Fort Worth instead. The unusual exchange, captured on ATC audio, has raised questions about the flight’s fuel planning and cockpit decision-making.
